Itinerary

• Pick up

6:00 AM: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the CaJeput Forest in Haugiang province by scooter.

• Cajeput Forest and Bird Sanctuary

07:00 AM: One of the best ways to explore nature and wildlife in the Mekong Delta is by taking a boat inside the forest to see birds and trees. Climb up to Bird Tower to see an overview of the forest. Seeing the duck farms (depending on the rice harvesting), and rice fields near the forest. Walking under the shadow of the trees around the forest.

• A traditional handicraft home house

10:00 AM: Visit a local house in the village to learn how they make incense for worship on the altar, the Buddha, ancestors, and gods, … The true religion of the Vietnamese is the cult of the spirits, it dates from the origins of the race.

• Gorgeous Khmer Pagoda

11:00 PM: Visit a Khmer Pagoda with more than a hundred years of history, and understand more about the cultural identity as well as beliefs of the local people.

• Local gardens and farms

12:00 PM: Go to the small road in the village and stop at a local house, visit their coconut farm and their rice fields.

• Traditional handicraft villages

02:00 PM Continue to a small street along the river and stop at a house making coal for cooking and the traditional handicraft village to see they are making bamboo baskets by hand.

• Discover the local foods

04:00 PM: Back downtown and try to discover the local foods at the local restaurants.

• Back to the hotel or place you want to go next

• 05:00 PM: Back to Can Tho City. End the tour. (Please tell us the meeting point to pick up and drop off if your hotel is far from Can Tho city center).

Note: I will book a bus ticket for you to back to Saigon after finishing the tour. Or wherever you want to go, we will support booking a private car or public bus for you.
